The Bath United Services Association will be holding a wreath laying ceremony at 11am at War memorial, Firs Field, Combe Down. The two minute silence will be incorporated into a short service held outside the west door of Bath Abbey. Meanwhile on Monday, November 11th maroons will be fired from the Parade Gardens to mark the beginning and the end of the two minute silence to remember those who died in the service of their country. This will be followed by the Royal British Legion’s Remembrance Sunday Service at Bath Abbey from 3 to 4 pm. Bath and North East Somerset Council is planning to stop its funding of the event, which will now be done directly by the city of Bath. Later the parade forms up in Milsom Street around 2pm to march past the Guildhall Steps at 2.30. Any changes to Baths Remembrance Sunday commemorations will be because due to veterans wishes not budget restraints, the Liberal Democrats have insisted.
